WOW!!!!! I just started watching HBOs “How to make it in America” a few days ago, but the theme song stood out to me right away.. i LOVED it!!! I did think it was an old 60/70s song or so… And I wouldve NEVER EVER guessed that its a song that not only came out this year but had also been recorded by my favorite Hip Hop/Soul crossover Aloe Blacc! I just ran across the video for the track, which came out 2 days ago.. this song is so lovely, still cant believe thats him on the vocals..i mean, i knew that man could sing.. but like this?????
On a another note… if u havent checked out “How to make it in America” do it! the show is great and the musical director must be a hip hop head.. and damn, they got Aloe Blacc to do the theme song..that says it all!!
